4 new types of REE (Effective from 1 July 2024)
Starting from 1 July 2024, the following regulated electrical equipment will be included and regulated under the scheme.

Refrigerator: with a total storage volume from 500 literes to not exceeding 900 liters |

Washing machines: with a rated washing capacity from 10kg to not exceeding 15 kg |

Dehumidifiers: operate by using vapour compression cycle with a rated dehumidifying capacity not exceeding 35 litres per day, but do not include those operate by using desiccant materials |

Tumble dryers: dry textile by tumbling in a rotating drum with a rated drying capacity not exceeding 15 kilograms |
